I think there is something here about human nature and psychology and how any iconic event, including a tragedy becomes a part of popular culture and that when something becomes a part of the culture there is a need to integrate it as iconic… Probably also something about the innate superficiality of a society which has no concept of God or nature as sacred… but honestly, fam, it’s Sunday and I’m too burned out to think of it.
