Russian and Filipino Journalists Get Nobel Peace Prize for “Free Speech” (Anglin Unacknowledged)

The real peace leader is the guy who made this meme.

Frankly, I do not understand why I did not get included in this prize.

They split it between a Russian and a Filipino, neither of which are actually even censored.

The Nobel Committee has awarded Russian journalist Dmitry Muratov the 2021 Peace Prize for “efforts to safeguard freedom of expression,” alongside Filipino investigative reporter Maria Ressa. Muratov is the head of Novaya Gazeta.

The decision, announced by committee chair Berit Reiss-Andersen on Friday, was accredited due to Muratov and Ressa’s commitment to free speech, which was described as “a precondition for democracy and lasting peace.”

According to the official Twitter account of the Nobel Prize committee, Muratov has “defended freedom of speech in Russia under increasingly challenging conditions” for decades, and has continued to champion an “independent policy” for his Novaya Gazeta outlet, despite “killings and threats.”

“Novaya Gazeta’s fact-based journalism and professional integrity have made it an important source of information on censurable aspects of Russian society rarely mentioned by other media,” the statement said.

The decision to give Muratov the prize is sure to be controversial within Russian liberal opposition circles, many of whom hoped the jailed Alexey Navalny would receive it. Earlier this year, Muratov criticized Navalny’s ‘Smart Voting’ campaign.

Shortly after the award announcement, close Navalny ally Leonid Volkov posted a quote from a recent argument with Muratov, likely to show his disagreement with the Nobel Committee’s decision.

The American government is a much more powerful and destructive entity than the Russian or Philippines governments.

The prize should have been split between me, Nick Fuentes, and Joseph Mercola.

No, no – there’s a new fight now.

The prize should have been given to “every mother who read passages from Lawn Boy at a school board meeting.”

These women are literally labeled terrorists and the US government is using the Patriot Act to silence them.

I just can’t understand how people that aren’t even censored get a prize for “fighting for free speech.”

Furthermore: the governments of Russia and Philippines are not trying to start any wars, while the US government that censors me is trying to start at least a dozen different wars, which I oppose.

I am the international icon of peace here, and it’s about time that was acknowledged.

They also didn’t acknowledge Greta Thunberg, who is the most important figure in trying to make the weather colder.

I wonder if they even watched her “blah blah blah” speech.
