I was pretty irked by Newt’s recent statements apparently supporting Black rioters, and I guess he got the message that a lot of people were irked by these statements. So he’s switched it up. Following the Nice attack, he’s called for a deportation of all Moslems.
Which is awesome to the max, regardless of who’s saying it.
Of course, it wasn’t a flat-out call for deporations of every ethnic Arab, but a call to deport every “Moslem who believes in Sharia law.” Well, believing in Sharia law is a required article of the Islamic faith, so it’s very close to a call to deport every ethnic Arab. It’s one step away.
Gingrich is just a gross opportunist.
But who cares?
The fact that this has entered the mainstream discussion is simply glorious. It cannot be overstated how absolutely fantastic this is.
