Facebook and Twitter Get What They Deserve for Censorship – Advertisement Pulled, Stocks Drop

There is now officially a massive campaign to destroy social media companies for not censoring Donald Trump and all of his supporters.

Coca-Cola on Friday announced it will be pausing paid advertising on all social media platforms globally for at least 30 days.

The company clarified it was not joining the official boycott, but said “we are pausing” advertising.

In the week since a group of organizations have called on Facebook advertisers to pause their ad spending during the month of July, more than 90 marketers including Verizon, Patagonia, REI, Lending Club and The North Face have announced their intention to join, according to a running list from Sleeping Giants. The group of organizations includes the Anti-Defamation League, the NAACP, Sleeping Giants, Color of Change, Free Press and Common Sense.

“There is no place for racism in the world and there is no place for racism on social media,” Coca-Cola CEO and Chairman, James Quincey, said in a statement. “The Coca-Cola Company will pause paid advertising on all social media platforms globally for at least 30 days. We will take this time to reassess our advertising policies to determine whether revisions are needed. We also expect greater accountability and transparency from our social media partners.”

The beverage giant has been posting quotes about diversity and ending systemic racism on its Twitter account, including support for NASCAR’s only Black driver, Bubba Wallace.

Shares of both Facebook and Twitter were down more than 7% in mid-day trading Friday after Unilever said it would pull its advertising from the social media companies for the rest of the year.

“Given our Responsibility Framework and the polarized atmosphere in the U.S., we have decided that starting now through at least the end of the year, we will not run brand advertising in social media newsfeed platforms Facebook, Instagram and Twitter in the U.S.,” the company said in a statement. “Continuing to advertise on these platforms at this time would not add value to people and society. We will be monitoring ongoing and will revisit our current position if necessary.”

The massive household goods company’s decision was driven by concerns over hate speech and divisive content on the platforms, it said. The Wall Street Journal was the first to report the news.

“Based on the current polarization and the election that we are having in the US, there needs to be much more enforcement in the area of hate speech,” Luis Di Como, Unilever’s executive vice president of global media, told the Journal in an interview.

So they’re just openly saying that they want the companies to do more meddling in the election. That is bold.

For those who don’t know, Unilever is a mega-Jew company that is the overseer of Jew ice cream brand Ben & Jerry’s and Jew shave club Dollar Shave Club. So it isn’t surprising they’re a big part of the push to take Jew censorship on the internet to the next level.

The Jews of Sleeping Giants and the Israeli lobbying group “Anti-Defamation League” have set up a massive new program that will basically make it impossible to say anything at all on social media.

Facebook is basically going to have to bow to their demands. They lost $55 billion in value yesterday.

This is why censorship was such a terrible idea to begin with. The slippery slope is real.

If these companies had simply said, “look, we’ll ban people if the government tells us to, otherwise, it isn’t our job to regulate speech, and in fact it’s illegal under CDA Section 230 for us to regulate speech,” then no one would be able to point to specific things they’re allowing and demand they stop allowing it.

It was obvious from the beginning, when Twitter decided to ban MILO, Chuck Johnson and Andrew Anglin, that they were going to enter a death spiral of censorship. Now, they’ve already censored everyone of any relevance, but the Jews are demanding that they literally go through and just remove anyone who isn’t a hardcore communist.

This is going to be very difficult for their bottom line, because no one is going to continue to use these platforms when there is nothing interesting on them. Even liberals go on Twitter to argue with people, so if everyone they argue with gets banned, they’re going to have much less interest in participating.

The companies know that allowing disagreement is profitable, they also know that they have regulators making threats, so they’re not happy about being bullied into banning all Trump supporters. But they will do it. I expect the announcement soon. They can’t just lose 100% of their advertisement like this.
