Hopefully the ancient whichever tribe of idiot brown savages was right and the earth is now angry at us.

A magnitude 6.9 earthquake shook Hawaii’s Big Island on Friday, prompting fresh eruptions of a volcano that has been spewing lava near residential areas, forcing hundreds of people to flee.

The US Geological Survey said the quake struck at 12:32 pm (2232 GMT) and was centered on the south flank of the Kilauea volcano, which first erupted on Thursday after a series of tremors on the island.

“This is in almost exactly the same location as the deadly 1975 M 7.1 quake,” USGC said in a tweet.

That quake killed two people and injured 28.

Another 5.7-magnitude tremor hit the island earlier on Friday and authorities said they expect more seismic activity.

The quakes have prompted the Kilauea volcano, one of five active on the island, to erupt.

Drone and video footage showed orange magma gushing up from cracks in the ground and snaking through a wooded area.

Molten lava could also be seen bubbling up through cracks on streets in the Leilani Estates and Lanipuna Gardens neighborhood where residents were ordered to evacuate on Thursday.

Look at this.

Literal lava pouring over the road as cars flee!

Like in a Hollywood movie!

I’m still holding out for the tectonic plates to shift and a hole in the ground open up and ancient MEGAFAUNA to start climbing out and tearing shit up.

That was the plot of Godzilla, btw.

But was also featured in the recent film “Kong: Skull Island,” which, if you can get past the “why is this specialist scientist a nigger?” bit, is actually a pretty fun movie – an “action-packed thrill ride,” if you will.

I think it’s also the plot of the “Rampage” movie coming out.

Actually, just watched that – it’s about alien genetic modification pods falling from the sky and mutating animals.

Based on my personal favorite arcade game ever, btw.

I think I must have paid for the entire machine three times over shoving quarters in that thing.

It was somehow more exciting to play games in the arcade. I remember getting the game on Nintendo afterward, and it just wasn’t the same.

1986 it came out.

I was 2-years-old.

What a world we could have made from that place we were….

Point being.

Hollow earth gigantic monsters coming out of the ground and tearing shit up…

One of many possible scenarios which could begin to unfold to break the tedious boredom of modern consumerist reality.

Fingers crossed.
